We hope everyone got home safe from Insomnia45 this week, and that you have managed to catch up on some sleep that will have made you feel vaguely human again!

However, there is still some business from i45 that needs to be addressed: we still have loads of unclaimed raffle prizes here at Multiplay HQ!

Make sure you check your ticket in your pass to see whether it matches any of the numbers below. If it does, you need to send us the raffle ticket with your name, address, email and phone number so that we can send you your prize. If you have won a PC case then we will be contacting you for a £10 contribution towards the postage costs, as it wasn’t claimed at i45.

Shed has some information from the PC World stand and has some exciting news regarding the stage this afternoon!

Our very own Steve ‘ShedBOy’ Wilson and Matt ‘Kharne’ Macdonald are going head to head on the main stage with A_Spec casting this momentous occasion.

And it’s happening SOON.

Don’t forget, both these fine men were in the same clan, Disciples of Apocalypse [DOA] once upon a time!

This is definitely a match you can’t miss out on. You will be entertained. We can promise that.

For everyone who’s been working on the Minecraft competition, we have that on the main stage today and remember that the arcade is still open!

The World Famous Raffle is also today so for only £1 a ticket that is a bargain, the prizes are amazing; Antec cases, motherboards, and a PC worth £3000! The more tickets you have, the more you could win!

Senoki and Narella

Congratulations to dignitas.BlinG for winning the Starcraft II tournament here at insomnia45. BlinG was the favourite to win, having won 8-0 in all of his previous matches, as well as Fargo who had achieved the same score throughout the competition.

BlinG was already 2-0 up from winning the Upper Final and only needed to win another two games to win the tournament.

Fargo started off with a lot of marines and helions, and slowly but surely added siege tanks. There was the occasional banshee; however Fargo hadn’t upgraded any of his other buildings, leaving refineries to build later than they should have been.

BlinG had a lot of stalkers and amended his army by including a new sentries.

Fargo made an early push with his army and whilst this was built quickly, he did not expand whereas BlinG had two bases by this point. BlinG had the stronger army, and defeated Fargo’s army making the score 3-0.

In the second round, both players decided to do an expansion quickly, which was probably for the best as Fargo knew he had to win this one to have a chance of still winning the tournament. However, Fargo did not have enough resources, and his army was quickly halved by BlinG’s. Although Fargo did replenish some of his army, it wasn’t enough and BlinG won this round 4-0, resulting him in being the winner of the Starcraft II tournament!

BlinG takes home £1,275, Fargo £531.25 and Qurk who won £318.75. Well done to all teams to also took part.
