Additional Services
Additional Services are those add-ons to your ticket which whilst aren’t necessary, may be of interest to some of our customers, and might make your weekend easier or more enjoyable! You can either book these during the ticket booking process, or just add them onto your booking at a later date before the start of the event. Be aware however that some services, particularly the Monitor Rental have limited stock available, so book early!
Early Arrival Service
Early Arrival Service is undoubtedly our most popular additional service available for the iSeries, often with over 50% of the entire event partaking!
Early Arrival Service (“EAS”) allows you to arrive from 6pm the night before the event (Thusrday evening), meaning you can be set up and ready to go the next day after a good night’s sleep, avoiding that early morning journey.
Although we don’t guarentee network or power will be available for your desk until 9am the next morning, it’s been a very long time since an event that didn’t have these provided on Thursday evening!
This virtually adds another day onto the event for many people! EAS evening has a great atmosphere, with the keenest of gamers waiting to get gaming, and definitely something you have to try at least once.
Monitor Rental
Monitor Rental is also very popular at our events, with our available stock often being snapped up quickly. For those gamers travelling from overseas or long distances domestically, this provides an invaluable way to reduce the amount of kit you’re transporting to the event.
The monitor is yours to use for the duration of the event, and at the end of the event you’ll be glad you don’t have to load that one extra thing into your luggage. As stated previously, we do have a limited amount of stock available for this service, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!

We now have two different options available to choose from:

Monitor Spec: iiyama 22″ prolite
Casual Gamer Package: £60
PC Spec: Intel® Core™2 Q6600, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT GFX or higher and 4GB Ram
Monitor Spec: 19″ Samsung/Packard Bell

PC Rentals are sold on a first come first serve basis, make sure you get your order in quick before they all go!
To rent a PC you must have a paid ticket for insomnia45.
Seating for rental PCs are located in the TUP PC area, if you would like to take the rental PC out of the designation area, to sit with clan mates and friends, then a £200 deposit will be required.
Server Co-location
Server Co-location is popular amongst clans who play online via their own server on a regular basis.
If you have a powerful machine that you can bring along, we can provide power and network for it in our server area. You may then administrate your own game servers on your machine or use it as a dedicated voice-comms server. Although we provide all the servers people need some clans prefer to have complete control, thus we brought in this service to accommodate.
Your server will need to be able to boot and run properly without a keyboard, monitor or mouse. The use of your server is subject to an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This is defined in the full terms of service. Key items of the policy include not running a public FTP/fileserver and disabling certain network services.
Ticket Discount Scheme
The i-series discount scheme was introduced to allow us to reward our loyal regular attendees for their support by giving them discounts on future events. The scheme has two levels of membership, Silver and Gold. These discounts do not stack with our early payment discounts, as we feel those rewards are already very generous. We do however give something extra for those of you with Gold loyalty status who book during our early payment periods!
Silver Discount Status
Gained by attended 4 insomnia events as a Bring Your Own Computer participant.Entitles you to 10% off full price tickets for future events.
Gold Discount Status
Gained by attending 8 insomnia events as a Bring Your Own Computer participant.Entitles you to a massive 20% off of the full price tickets, all year long OR free Early Arrival Service if you purchase during our early payment discount periods.
Kids Ticket
Any child aged 6 or under is given free access to the show, and family tickets are also available for £15 for the day (2 adults + 2 children under 18).
These can be purchased on the door on the day of the show once you arrive.

e-Ticket
All of our tickets are electronic tickets. To gain entry into the show, you simply need to bring your 6 digit booking reference and some form of ID to link you to the booking.
However, we have a handy e-Ticket print-off you can use which has all of the important pre-event information such as a packing list and some last minute travel information.
It also contains a barcode and your booking reference allowing us to speed up getting you checked into the event!
Under 16s
If you are under 16 and plan to attend as a Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) participant or a full weekend visitor without your parents or guardian present, you’ll need to fill in some paperwork and bring it along with you to the event.
