One of the longest running tournaments at the iSeries, COD 4: Modern Warfare is the game that sparked the biggest selling fps game franchise of all time. In TCM’s second win for today, they were matched up against Adoits, taking a prize of £720, leaving £300 for the runner up.

TCM have won the previous 2 events, but both with very different lineups with 2 players remaining from their last team from i44.

After a rocky start in the groupstages, TCM managed to finish 3rd in their group and then beat Adoits, imFM and SayIT easily in the play offs.

Adoits began with a strong start, managing to keep the gap between them and TCM small, however TCM began to dominate the rounds as it gradually widened to 9 – 3.

Adoits then almost made a complete comeback by winning every consecutive round until TCM managed to win 13 – 9.

In the CoD4 tournament, 3 of the top teams played 4v5 yesterday due to delayed travel.

The #1 seed TCM-Gaming, lost to eXp.eS in Round 2 of the Group Stages 14 – 10. TCM-Gaming however, still remain a strong team regardless of having a different lineup for the third time in three events.

adroits, the #2 seed lost two games to hjx.gb (15 – 9) and Sayit (13 – 9).

Both of teams should progress in the tournament, but it always makes the playoffs a little more interesting!

Call of Duty 4 Returns to insomnia!

Yes, here we are, announcing our Call of Duty 4 tournament once again! We have been running COD4 for such a long time we would like to thank the community for supporting the insomnia tournaments, and have a massive possible prize pool of up to £9,600!

At our insomnia44 tournament we had highs – Phantasmix almost pulling an epic comeback out of the bag defeating infused and Dignitas to get back up into the grand finals, only to be denied at the final hurdle by TCM:

And there were lows – our admins caught a cheater using a blatant hack and had to remove him from the venue and ban him from future events. This shows that cheating never pays at LANs!
