After the success of running the CODXP London event we are proud to present to you our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 tournament on Xbox 360. Hosted at our Spring i45 event, we are expecting this to be massive so grab your tickets now so you are not disappointed!

Teams of 4 can enter and can use either the BYOC (Bring your own computer/console) ticket or “Xbox TUP” ticket. You will have all the time you wish to practise if you come as a BYOC attendee to give yourself the best chance in the tournament matches if you wish.

This tournament is open to over 18s only! ID is required on entry to the venue and you will not be allowed to take part in the tournament without the correct credentials. If you wish to bring your own copy of the game and play in the BYOC area in other fun tournaments, then this is allowed. Any entrants to the prize tournament regardless of BYOC/TUP status must however be 18 or older.

Signup guide:

1) Make sure you are a BYOC or TUP Ticket holder for i45, and at least 18 years of age during the event.

2) Click Signups in the menu above!

3) Select the appropriate Tab for your tournament, in this case “Prize winning”.

4a) Create a new team in the left hand box with “Not Entered” written in by typing in the name of the team into the box. Click Save in the bottom left.

OR

4b) If you already have a team entered select that team in the right hand box that has “Not Entered” in it. This box is a drop down menu where you will be able to select your team’s name, if previously created. Select your team, click save in the bottom left.

5) Add your Xbox Live name to this form in the Game ID Field.

6) Turn up and play some games!

There are some amazing prizes at insomnia45, especially for the Xbox 360 tournaments!

There are 19 Vault Xbox 360 cases up for grabs over the weekend kindly provided by Calibur 11.

If you want to get your paws on these then you’ll need to grab a team and join in the Modern Warfare 3 tournament for a chance to win 4 x Mass Effect 3 Special Edition cases for 1st place, with 4 plain coloured vaults for 2nd place.

If you want get first place in one of the tournaments over at the Fighting Games stand or playing 1v1 FIFA 12, you could win 1 plain case per tournament!

4 cases are also up for grabs in the raffle including 1 x Gears of War Special Edition, 1 x Battlefield 3 Special Edition, 1 x MLG Special Edition and 1 plain case.

Remember the only way to win is to get involved! Grab your team mates, your controllers and your joysticks!

For those of you that cannot make it this weekend, we feel your pain, but all is not lost! We will be streaming so much video content from the event you won’t know what to watch!

As usual we will be hosting a live stream all weekend long of the main stage. This is the premier channel where you will find all of the tournament grand finals, along side other awesome activities like the Friday Night party, the “Classy“ Pub Quiz and the Asus Overclocking Masters UK Grand Final.

Event Live Streams

• League of Legends will be our premier tournament stream this time around, with top casters Deman and Joe Miller bringing you all of the hottest action from the LAN tournament. Already with the online qualifiers we have “Western Wolves” and Winfakt.lol showing themselves to be contenders, this should be one to watch!
• Starcraft 2 will also be streaming all day Saturday and Sunday, and will see some of the best UK SC2 talent head to head in one of the biggest E-Sports in the world.
• Counter Strike Source will be viewable via SourceTV throughout the weekend, you will find the details on this site closer to the kick off. Then enjoy the grand final casted by Joe Miller and Gonzo on Sunday!
• Team Fortress 2 will have a video stream all weekend, hosted by VanillaTF2, hosts of last summer’s TF2 extravaganza!
• Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox) will be streamed live all weekend by our friends at the Warped Gaming League by Rel and Goochhyy, and if Mana recovers from his injury he might be able to get involved too!
• Fighting Games will be taking place all day Saturday and Sunday, and Unequalled Media are providing a full weekend of awesome fighting action, from Super Street Fighter IV AE to King of Fighters XIII you will not be disappointed!
• We have a fully featured Minecraft stream all weekend! Featuring Minecraft masters Wol and bacon, you can tune in and find out how all of our Minecraft competitions are going, like the spleef, parkour and “Hunger Games” and follow the progress of the Minecraft Creative Competition – where people build simply EPIC THINGS in one single weekend.
• Call of Duty 4 will have the grand final streamed live to the world, and will be brought to you via Deman and A_Spec, to bring you one of the longest running tournaments of the iSeries!
• We’ll also be streaming Fifa 12 this event, with the 1v1 stream taking place on Saturday, and then 2v2 on Sunday.
• We also have some Battlefield 3, with the grand final taking place in our finals arena and live streamed on our main channel! Dignitas’ very own Dogbert will be your host for this one.

Tournament Information for Players

Just an update for anyone wishing to take part in this tournament – some points to remember before the big weekend1

• Bring your Xbox Live Gamer Profile on a USB memory stick (very important!)
• Bring your own Xbox360 WIRED Controller. No wireless controllers are permitted!
• If you are BYOC remember your copy of the game! Obvious we know but some people do forget!
• BYOC players do not forget to bring a copy of every game you wish to play during the weekend! You do not want to be left out if an ad-hoc Gears of War 3 match kicks off! FIFA12 is recommended – we have plenty of FIFA tournaments happening for you to take part in!
• Make sure you are signed up for the tournament and inside the venue for 11am on Friday 4th May. Signups will close at 11:30am and there are no exceptions!
• The tournament itself begins at 13:00 sharp. Do not be late for your first game! There is a briefing with the tournament admins at 12:30 where they will explain everything you need to know and answer any questions you may have. Do not be late for this – the schedule is tight and missing a game will mean you forfeit it!

The weekend will be action packed for all involved, and if you are attending as a BYOC ticket holder, you will have your own seat all weekend, to take part in tournaments and play all of the other games that will be happening during the weekend! TUP players are welcome to practise on our tournament machines, but only if they are not being used for an official match. Our admins will inform you at the time.
