How to Upload and Rules

- Create a Fileplay Account – Click Here.
- Make your video. We recommend something like Fraps, available at fraps.com or Xsplit, available at xsplit.com. Make sure you mention that the build you are showing off is from the speed build comepetion hosted by Multiplay, whether its text in the video or a title screen you have added yourself. Otherwise, as long as you have filmed it inside your competition plot, then everything is fair game. Make us laugh, or make us see how awesome your build is. Either way, you are after votes from the public.
- Upload your video to Fileplay. You can upload as many as you want, but votes only count on 1 video, and they do not stack up!
- IMPORTANT! Tag your video when you upload it. The tag must read “MCcompetition” to show up in the channel.
- Give your friends the link to your video (it sometimes takes a few minutes to encode) and get them to “Love it”. This counts as a vote. Get as many votes as you can! To be able to vote they also need a Fileplay Account.
How to Upload your Video.
- Videos must be uploaded, and have votes before Wed 29th February.
- Videos must include the plot you are working on.
- You must be in the team that made the plot.
- Videos must be of reasonable quality suitable for viewing on our channel. Resolutions of at least 640×480 are recommended, but if your hardware can handle it we recommend 1280×720. Or you could be a real show off and use 1920 x 1080. Either way, its not the resolution, but the votes that count. If the quality is too low we will remove it from the competition.
- Your video must include a mention of Multiplay and the competition.
- All videos that are used to enter the Multiplay Competition become property of Multiplay for use at our events and online, or otherwise for promotional purposes.
- You can upload your competition entries to other video sites, such as YouTube, and we even encourage you to since you can earn more votes by directing them to your video on Fileplay. Only “Love its” on Fileplay count towards your score however.
- Videos can include a webcam, but it is not essential.
- Videos can also be in the Machinima style.
- Voters must be legitimate to count.
- iPad2 Prize only available in countries where apple stores already trade.
