EA £10k FIFA ‘09 Tournament

Fri 21 November at 13:35

No need to look twice - you haven’t misread it! EA really are putting up £10,000 of prize money for a FIFA ‘09 Xbox360 tournament at i36!

In one of the largest prize funds we’ve ever had, one lucky winner will walk away with £5,000 in prize money - the largest single prize at the i-Series.

1st £5,000
2nd £2,500
3rd £1,000
4th £500
5th-8th £250

Rules and details are to follow but we wanted to let you know now so that you can start practising for what’s sure to be a hotly contested competition.

You can find the current list of confirmed tournaments at our tournament homepage.

I would also like to know if a qualification match/tournament must be played or you can just enter at the event.

There are more details to follow in the coming weeks regarding what you’ll need to do to qualify (if anything, previous tournaments have been simply “turn up and play”).

Before the end of December you should see the tournament rules, peliminary times and format of the competition.

In the meantime get practising - you have just under 5 months!
